Sophie & Kamal were married in 2000.  There first child, Stephen , was born in August 2004.  They live in Airdrie, Alberta, a community north of Calgary.  Both Kamal and Sophie are involved in Youth Ministry at the University level.  Having recently moved to Airdrie they are looking forward to becoming more involved in their parish community.

Kamal is an Intern Architect who loves graphic design.  Kamal immigrated to Canada from Turkey with his family when he was 7 years old.  He comes from a Chaldean Catholic family and they came to Canada to escape religious persecution.  It is a blessing for him to live in a country that allows religious freedom and that freedom is what inspires him to share his faith with others. 

Sophie is a Certified Financial Planner and Marketing Consultant for a Canadian Insurance Company.  She is responsible for training and development and has done many presentations on various topics in the financial and insurance industry as well as faith based.  She is currently on Maternity Leave, enjoying her new baby and this new phase in her life. 

Sophie and Kamal discovered that as a family they did not have many resources available to help live their faith fully as a family unit.  When Bill and Tracy approached them to work on this inspired mission, they jumped at the opportunity.  This website and e-Magazine are a way to share and live their faith creating a legacy for their young family.
